The NC Farm to ECE Connections Map was developed to bridge gaps between farmers and childcare centers, support access to local foods, improve children’s nutrition, and foster meaningful community partnerships. This article also outlines the key steps to creating a community connections map, including data collection, stakeholder input, and sustainable planning, demonstrating how such tools can strengthen local food systems and deepen community ties.
