Jordan serves as the Diabetes Program Assistant for the Community and Clinical Connections for Prevention and Health Branch. In this role, Jordan will support North Carolinians by identifying programs and resources to help reduce their risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Most recently, she worked as a Health Educator at the Poe Center for Health Education. Through her work she has developed a passion for assisting and educating the public on topics such as adult nutrition and cooking. Jordan received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a minor in Communication Studies from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Additionally, she is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). In her free time Jordan enjoys movie going, sightseeing and spending time with family and friends.
