Corinne Goudreault serves as a Diabetes Prevention Program Coordinator with the Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less and Eat Smart, Move More, Prevent Diabetes, a collaborative effort of NC State University and the NC Division of Public Health. An NC native, Corinne has worked with myriad non-profits. Most recently, she was the Program Associate at the Weissberg Foundation in Washington, DC, a social-justice oriented family foundation. There, she provided a wide variety of programmatic and grantmaking support, including for the Reframing Washington program area, which focused on grassroots community organizing, civic engagement, and advocacy centered on racial justice.

Corinne graduated with Honors and Distinction from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and English and a lot of pale blue clothes. She's since completed a graduate certificate in Global Health Programs at the Gilling’s School at UNC. She holds academic and professional interests in equity through public health, food systems, gender, meaning-making, and social geography. Things she loves include food, family, friends, traveling, other people's dogs, vegetarian cooking ideas, and podcasts. Corinne is also on the board of Hope Her Way, a Durham nonprofit that helps low-income single parents gain access to and persist through post-secondary education.
